| Erik Spiekermann Erik Spiekermann studied Art History at Berlin Freie Universität, running a printing press for a living. He moved to London in 1973 and started designing typefaces and writing books about typography. After seven years in London, Erik returned to Berlin to set up MetaDesign, now Germany1s largest design firm, employing more than 80 designers. Since 1992 MetaDesign has also had an office in San Francisco. He travels the world as typographic evangelist and names designing complex information systems as his hobby. |
