Tobias Frere-Jones was born in New York in 1970,
graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1992.
He is currently working as a senior type designer for the
Font Bureau in Boston. Previous designs include Dolores
(FontFont), Garage Gothic, Nobel, Cafeteria, Reiner Script,
Stereo, Interstate, Epitaph, Armada (Font Bureau) and Reactor
(FUSE 7). He relaxes by banging on sheet metal with a sledgehammer, and enjoys chewing on styrofoam. | |
