| Matthew Butterick abandoned an early mathematics career at Harvard, for one which has encompassed graphic design, type design multimedia and programming. He began work as a letterpress printer, then became a type designer, working with Font Bureau and Carter & Cone, producing work for clients like Apple Computer, Esquire, Microsoft, Rolling Stone and Ziff-Davis. He is the founder of Atomic Vision, a new studio which incorporates design and technology for digital media projects such as Web sites, CD-ROMs and interactive presentations. | |
