Thilo von Debschitz (44) studied design at Rhein Main Art College and then worked as an art director for various international advertising and design agencies. In 1997, he and Laurenz Nielbock founded the design agency Q, which has received numerous awards for its high-quality print and online media campaigns. Thilo von Debschitz has been a member of the Type Directors Club of New York for many years and an initiator of cultural projects. He is the father of two children and lives in Wiesbaden with his family.
In addition to the monograph “Fritz Kahn – Man Machine” (pub: Springer), the Debschitz siblings also published “Frank Kunert: Topsy-Turvy World” (pub: Hatje Cantz), a book of photographs by Kunert, which was awarded the German photo book prize in 2009.
