Andreas Conradi worked for nine months, while he was still a student, for AlmapBBDO and others as a designer and editor in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He returned with 38 exiting interviews and several thousand photographs, which he included in his book »Exploring Brazil’s Visual Culture«, his diploma thesis for FH Düsseldorf. His passion for typography and his enjoyment of communication concepts are shown in his work.

The project offers an insight into today’s visual culture of Brazil, and into the thought and work of its designers. It includes artists from the marginalized São Paulo suburbs as well as designers from international studios.
